Step 1
Place the Water (1/3 cup) in a small bowl and sprinkle over Gelatin Powder (1 Tbsp) . Set aside for 5 minutes or until the gelatin has been absorbed.
Step 2
Combine the Cream (1 cup) , Caster Sugar (1 cup) and Vanilla Bean Pod (1) in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir to dissolve the sugar.
Step 3
Bring to a boil, add the gelatin and stir to combine.
Step 4
Remove from the heat and strain into a bowl.
Step 5
Add the Milk (1 1/2 cups) and Buttermilk (1 1/2 cups) and stir gently to combine.
Step 6
Pour the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours or until set.
Step 7
Serve your Basic Buttermilk Panna Cotta and enjoy!
