This incredibly easy Basic Buttermilk Panna Cotta makes a beautiful light dessert, ideal for summer entertaining. The perfect balance of gelatin and dairy makes this elegant dessert sweet and wonderfully creamy.

Cooking Instructions
1.
Place the Water (1/3 cup) in a small bowl and sprinkle over Gelatin Powder (1 Tbsp). Set aside for 5 minutes or until the gelatin has been absorbed.
2.
Combine the Cream (1 cup), Caster Sugar (1 cup) and Vanilla Bean Pod (1) in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir to dissolve the sugar.
3.
Bring to a boil, add the gelatin and stir to combine.
4.
Remove from the heat and strain into a bowl.
5.
Add the Milk (1 1/2 cups) and Buttermilk (1 1/2 cups) and stir gently to combine.
6.
Pour the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours or until set.
7.
Serve your Basic Buttermilk Panna Cotta and enjoy!
