Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F).
Inside a greased pan, fry together the
Yellow Onion (1)
, and Diced
Wright® Brand Smoked Bacon (1.1 lb)
for about 3 minutes.
Inside a pot, boil your
Potatoes (10 cups)
until they are tender.
Cut your potatoes into slices. Inside a baking dish, layer up your potatoes topped with the bacon mixture and the
Cheese (6 1/4 cups)
. Season with
Salt (to taste)
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
Inside a separate pot, mix together your
Thickened Cream (2 1/2 cups)
Garlic (2 cloves)
over medium heat until the mixture is nice and warm. Do not wait until it is boiled. Keep stirring while adding some cheese.
Pour over your cream mixture over the baking dish, and bake inside a preheated oven at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) for about 45 minutes.
