Author's Notes

You will have extra sauce for another round of pasta! Make 2 lbs for party size. Also, save some sauce if you will have leftovers the following day when reheating. It will be too dry without extra sauce when reheating like a 'real' mac n' cheese.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Meanwhile, boil your choice of Pasta (1 lb) and place Vegetable Broth (1 cup), Nutritional Yeast (1/2 cup), Ground Turmeric (1/2 Tbsp), Flaxseeds (2 Tbsp), McCormick® Garlic Powder (1 Tbsp), Onion Powder (1/2 Tbsp), Raw Unsalted Cashews (1/3 cup) and Salt (to taste) in a blender.

When squash is done, place in blender with other ingredients and blend until creamy and smooth.
