Author's Notes

This recipe yields one 7.9x4.3-inch loaf. Please use over-ripened bananas! Those that are already blackened work great for baking. Freeze and thaw, removing excess water if you can as it helps to elevate the flavor of the bananas.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line and grease loaf pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
Mash the Bananas (4) until smooth.
Step 3
Stir in Sweetened Condensed Milk (1 1/4 cups) .
Step 4
Sift in Self-Rising Flour (1 3/4 cups) and fold until combined.
Step 5
Transfer to a loaf pan and bake in the oven for about 1 hour 10 minutes.
Step 6
Let it cool for a while and unmold. Cool completely before serving.
