Step 1
Line baking sheets with parchment paper, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
Sift together Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (1/3 cup) , Salt (3/4 tsp) , Baking Soda (1/4 tsp) and Baking Powder (1/2 Tbsp) , then set aside.
Step 3
Cream Butter (1 1/2 sticks) and Granulated Sugar (1 1/3 cups) until light and creamy.
Step 4
Add the Large Eggs (3) one at the time, beating well after each egg. Add the Red Food Coloring (1 fl oz) , Milk (2 Tbsp) and Vanilla Extract (1/2 Tbsp) .
Step 5
Mix this until all is incorporated. Add the All-Purpose Flour (3 cups) until just mixed in, then add Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (1 cup) . Do not over mix, or cookies will be tough.
Step 6
Scoop with a cookie scoop then roll in Powdered Confectioners Sugar (1 pckg) and coat really well.
Step 7
Place on the lined baking sheets and bake for 10-14 minutes.
Step 8
Let cool. Serve and enjoy!
