Author's Notes

Make the patties ahead of time. Cooked pork patties can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Reheat in a microwave on high for 1 minute.

The cooking time for your burger patties depends on the thickness of the patties. To ensure your burgers are cooked all the way through, use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should be at 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
