In a shallow bowl, e.g. a pie dish, whisk together Non-Dairy Milk (1 cup), All-Purpose Flour (2 tablespoon), Nutritional Yeast (1 tablespoon), Maple Syrup (1 tablespoon), Chai Spice (2 teaspoon), Ground Flaxseed (1/2 teaspoon), Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon), Salt (1 pinch).
Slice up the French Bread (6 slice) in about 1 inch thick slices. Heat Coconut Oil (to taste) in a large skillet over medium heat.
Coat a slice of bread in the french toast liquid for about 10 seconds on each side. The bread should feel slightly heavier but not soaked completely through. That's the trick!
Place the slice in the hot pan for a few minutes on each side, flipping with a metal spatula. Repeat with remaining slices of bread, until all the liquid is gone.
Serve hot, drenched with Maple Syrup (to taste), and topped with powdered sugar and strawberries, or whatever your favorite toppings are! Enjoy!
