Step 1
Stir the
Water (1 cup)
and
Granulated Sugar (2/3 cup)
in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Step 2
Add
Walnuts (1/2 cup)
and boil for 2 minutes to make the candied walnuts.
Step 3
Drain walnuts and dry on a cookie sheet.
Step 4
Whip the
Eggs (2)
in a medium bowl until foamy.
Step 5
Stir in the
Mochiko Sweet Rice Flour (1/3 cup)
until pasty to make the batter.
Step 6
Dip
Large Shrimp (1 lb)
into the batter.
Step 7
Fry shrimp in
Vegetable Oil (1 cup)
in a deep skillet over medium high heat until golden brown (about 5 mins).
Step 8
Drain on paper towels to get off the excess oil.
Step 9
In a medium serving bowl, stir the
Mayonnaise (1/4 cup)
,
Honey (2 Tbsp)
, and
Sweetened Condensed Milk (1 Tbsp)
to make a sauce.
Step 10
Toss the shrimp in the sauce until it’s evenly coated.
Step 11
Serve with candied walnuts sprinkled on top and enjoy!
