Cooking Instructions
1.
Mix All-Purpose Flour (3/4 cup), Cornmeal (1 Tbsp), Baking Powder (2 tsp), Salt (1 tsp) and Granulated Sugar (1 Tbsp) in a large bowl. Add Milk (3/4 cup) and stir.
2.
Add chopped Yellow Onions (2 cups) and mix thoroughly. The mixture will be thick and that's what we want.
3.
Heat 1/2 inch of Frying Oil (as needed) in a skillet over medium-high heat. Using a tablespoon, drop batter in hot oil, flatten ever so slightly. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until brown and crisp. Drain on a paper towel.
4.
Serve warm and enjoy!
