My daughter Vienna LOVES these healthy little cookies, ahem, I mean "Owlies". So much so, I thought it would be fun to create a little apple crisp with them. Secretly, I was just as excited for this recipe! I'm a kid at heart, after all.

Biscuit Mix

Almond Meal
or Almond Flour

Simply Organic Cinnamon, Ground

Coconut Oil

Cooking Instructions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2.
Grease a baking dish with Coconut Oil (2 Tbsp).
3.
Evenly spread the Apples (4) in the baking dish.
4.
Crush the Biscuit Mix (1 1/2 cups). I placed them in a large ziploc bag (see photo) and then crushed them with a glass measuring cup.
5.
In a large bowl, combine the crushed Owlies, Almond Meal (1/2 cup), Simply Organic Cinnamon, Ground (1 tsp), Ground Nutmeg (1/2 tsp) and Coconut Oil (4 Tbsp)
6.
Sprinkle the topping over top of the apples. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the apples are soft. Just stick a fork into the apples to test it.
