My daughter Vienna LOVES these healthy little cookies, ahem, I mean "Owlies". So much so, I thought it would be fun to create a little apple crisp with them. Secretly, I was just as excited for this recipe! I'm a kid at heart, after all.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
Grease a baking dish with Coconut Oil (2 tablespoon).
Step 3
Evenly spread the Apple (4) in the baking dish.
Step 4
Crush the Love Child Organics® Owlies (1 1/2 cup) I placed them in a large ziploc bag (see photo) and then crushed them with a glass measuring cup.
Step 5
In a large bowl, combine the crushed Owlies, Almond Meal (1/2 cup), Ground Cinnamon (1 teaspoon), Ground Nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon) and Coconut Oil (4 tablespoon)
Step 6
Sprinkle the topping over top of the apples. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the apples are soft. Just stick a fork into the apples to test it.
Step 7
Enjoy!
