Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (4)
half lengthwise so you have two thin pieces, and pound flat under plastic wrap using a meat tenderizer or rolling pin.
Garlic Parmesan Seasoning and Coating Mix (1/2 box)
into a gallon plastic bag (or the bag that comes with the seasoning). Add pieces 1 at a time, shaking until fully coated, then place them on the baking sheet.
Once finished, spray with
Olive Oil Cooking Spray (as needed)
. Bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken is beginning to turn golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and turn on the broiler. Top each piece with 1 Tbsp of
Marinara Sauce (1/2 cup)
and a sprinkle of
Mozzarella Cheese (1/2 cup)
Return to the oven and bake for 3-5 more minutes under the broiler or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Garnish baked chicken parmesan with
Fresh Basil (to taste)
if desired. Serve warm with sides of choice.
