Crispy on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside, these fried balls of cornmeal are a perfect side to so many dishes.

In a bowl, mix together the Cornmeal (1 cup), All-Purpose Flour (1 cup), Caster Sugar (2 Tbsp), Baking Powder (1 Tbsp), and Salt (1/2 tsp). Add Yellow Onions (1/2 cup) and stir to combine.
In a jug, whisk Milk (1 cup) and Large Egg (1) together. Add milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix until the combination is nearly combined, then stir in the Butter (1/4 cup).
Using a small ice cream scoop, take some of the mixture and fry them over medium heat until golden brown on all side about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and place on a plate with paper towel.
Serve and enjoy!
