In a bowl, mix together the Cornmeal (1 cup), All-Purpose Flour (1 cup), Caster Sugar (2 tablespoon), Baking Powder (1 tablespoon), and Salt (1/2 teaspoon). Add Yellow Onion (1/2 cup) and stir to combine.
In a jug, whisk Milk (1 cup) and Large Egg (1) together. Add milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix until the combination is nearly combined, then stir in the Butter (4 tablespoon).
Using a small ice cream scoop, take some of the mixture and fry them over medium heat until golden brown on all side about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and place on a plate with paper towel.
