Cooking Instructions
1.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2.
Chop the Apple Pie Filling (1 1/2 cups) using a knife or a food processor if you have one.
3.
Unroll the Pie Crusts (2) and spread the apple pie filling onto one of them, leaving a 1/8-inch border around the edge. Then cover with the other crust and press the sides together to secure.
4.
Make an egg wash by mixing the Eggland's Best Classic Egg (1) with a splash of water.
5.
Brush some egg wash on top of the crust and sprinkle the Sparkling Sugar (to taste) to mimic the look of salty fries. Cut strips about 1/2-inch thick and cut those into fry shapes.
6.
Place them carefully on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until they're golden and firm.
7.
Serve with Caramel Sauce (1 cup) as a sweet 'ketchup' for dipping!
