Step 1
Wash and rinse
Okra (2 1/2 cups)
. Remove the top and tail and slit okra into two pieces.
Step 2
Heat
Vegetable Oil (1/4 cup)
over medium heat in a thick bottom pan.
Step 3
Saute okra in oil.
Step 4
Add
Mustard Seeds (1/8 tsp)

Red Chili Powder (to taste)
,
Ground Turmeric (1 pinch)
, and
Salt (to taste)
.
Step 5
Turn okra time to time, making sure okra doesn't stick to the bottom. Cook till tender.
Step 6
Served hot and enjoy!
