In a mixing bowl, mix together the
All-Purpose Flour (3 cups)
Caster Sugar (1/4 cup)
Active Dry Yeast (1/2 Tbsp)
Salt (1 tsp)
. Then whisk in the
Large Egg (1)
Milk (1 cup)
Butter (1/4 cup)
. Mix everything well until smooth.
Place the dough In a separate oiled bowl, and roll it around for a while. Cover the bowl with a plastic cover, and leave it in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
In a sauce pan, melt together the
Butter (1 cup)
Dark Brown Sugar (2 cups)
Flatten the dough, and cut it into 6 long strips. Cut each strip into small pieces, and coat all the pieces together with the
Caster Sugar (1/2 cup)
Ground Cinnamon (1 Tbsp)
Put half of the caramel sauce inside a cake pan, then place the dough pieces, and pour over the remaining sauce on top. Cover the pan with a plastic cover and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
Bake under 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for about 40 minutes.
