Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together All-Purpose Flour (1 1/4 cups) , Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp) , Ground Cardamom (1/2 tsp) , and Salt (1/4 tsp) .
Step 3
In a separate bowl, add Unsalted Butter (1/2 cup) and Powdered Confectioners Sugar (1/3 cup) and cream for 2-3 minutes, mixing on medium speed.
Step 4
Add Pecans (1 cup) . Add Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp) and Milk (1/2 Tbsp) and mix for 30 seconds.
Step 5
Add dry ingredients and mix until well combined. The dough will be soft but it shouldn't stick to your hands.
Step 6
Roll 1 1/2 tbsp of dough into a 3-inch log and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the dough, placing each cookie log 2-inch apart.
Step 7
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bottom of the cookies starts turning golden brown.
Step 8
Cool for 10 minutes on the baking tray and then cool completely on a rack.
Step 9
While the cookies are cooling, add Freeze Dried Apples (1/4 cup) and Powdered Confectioners Sugar (1/4 cup) to a blender and blend until fine.
Step 10
Feel free to add Edible Glitter (to taste) or Powdered Food Coloring (to taste) to your powdered sugar.
Step 11
Sift the apple powdered sugar into a bowl. Roll the cooled cookies in the powdered sugar and enjoy!
