Step 1
Add Fresh Basil Leaves (3 cups) , Pine Nuts (1/3 cup) , Nutritional Yeast (3 Tbsp) , Olive Oil (1/4 cup) , Garlic (1 clove) , Lemon Juice (1 Tbsp) , and Salt (1/4 tsp) to the bowl of a food processor. Blend for 3-5 minutes until the mixture forms a loose paste. This is your vegan pesto.
Step 2
Heat a generous splash of Oil (to taste) over low heat in a large, non-stick frying pan, add the Garlic (1 clove) and fry for 2-3 minutes until the garlic turns slightly golden in color.
