2% Reduced Fat Milk

Brown Sugar , lightly packed

Pure Vanilla Extract

Author's Notes

If opting for gluten-free, pulse 1/4 cup large flake oatmeal in a grinder until broken down and flour-like or use gluten-free flour.

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
In a medium bowl whisk together 2% Reduced Fat Milk (2 cups) , Large Eggs (2) , Brown Sugar (1/4 cup) , Pure Vanilla Extract (1 tsp) , Ground Cinnamon (1/2 Tbsp) , Salt (1/2 tsp) , Ground Allspice (1/4 tsp) , Ground Ginger (1/4 tsp) and Ground Nutmeg (1/8 tsp) .
Step 3
Peel and core Granny Smith Apples (2) , cut into 1/2-inch chunks, add to bowl.
Step 4
Whisk in Large Flake Oats (2 cups) and Baking Powder (1 tsp) . Stir in Dried Cranberries (1/2 cup) and Assorted Nuts (1/2 cup) . Pour into a greased 9x9 or 7x11-inch baking dish.
Step 5
Combine Unsalted Butter (2 Tbsp) , All-Purpose Flour (2 Tbsp) , Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp) , Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp) , Assorted Nuts (1/4 cup) until crumbly using a fork, pastry cutter or mini food processor. Sprinkle evenly over oatmeal.
Step 6
Bake for 25-28 minutes until set and golden in color.
Step 7
Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with milk, cream, or yogurt.
