Step 1
In a tray with
Pork Chops (4)
, season with
Salt (1/2 tsp)
and
Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)
on both sides.
Step 2
Slice
Red Onion (1)
,
Granny Smith Apple (1)
and
Honeycrisp Apple (1)
into thin slices.
Step 3
In the large pan, heat the
Olive Oil (1 Tbsp)
over medium-high heat. Once hot, add pork chop and sear for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 4
Flip the pork and sear for 2-3 more minutes. Remove the pork and set it aside.
Step 5
In the same pan over medium heat, melt the
Butter (2 Tbsp)
. Then add onion and apples. Cook until soft, about 5-10 minutes.
Step 6
Add
Thymian (2 sprigs)
,
Apple Cider Vinegar (2 Tbsp)
,
Rosmarin (2 sprigs)
, and
Brown Sugar (1 Tbsp)
. Cook for about 2 more minutes. Stir occasionally.
Step 7
Bring the pork back to the pan. Warm the pork for about 2 more minutes.
Step 8
Garnish with
Thymian (1 sprig)
and some
Rosmarin (1 sprig)
on top. Serve
