Ever heard of African Chow Mein? It’s a basic hotdish or casserole that’s been around for decades! I’m not sure how it got its name, but it’s a classic and easy to make into Vegan African Chow Mein! This is a great, hearty vegan meal when you’re craving comfort food!

Crunchy Rice Noodles

Scallions , chopped

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Step 2
In saucepan, combine Almond Milk (4 cup) Unbleached All-Purpose Flour (6 tablespoon), Buttery Spread (4 tablespoon), Brown Mushrooms (1 package), and Salt and Pepper (to taste). Stir until thick, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add sauce, Trader Joe's® Beef-less Ground Beef (1 package), Celery (2 cup), White Onion (1), Brown Rice (1 cup), Soy Sauce (1/3 cup), and Almond Milk (1 cup) to 9x13-inch pan and mix evenly.
Step 4
Bake for 1 hour.
Step 5
Top with Crunchy Rice Noodles (1 can) and Scallion (4 stalk). Enjoy!
