One of my favorite part about these cocktails is you get to control the sweetness and alcohol content of each drink. Like them fruity? Add more of the homemade strawberry puree. Like them boozy? Add some extra rum. Want more sweetness? You know the drill.

Cooking Instructions
1.
In a blender, puree Fresh Strawberries (3 cups) with Water (2 Tbsp).
2.
Pour strawberry puree into a small saucepan. Add Water (3 Tbsp), Granulated Sugar (1 cup), juice from Lemon (1) and heat over medium heat. Stir well to combine.

On a cutting board or in a small bowl, gently mash and bruise the Fresh Mint Leaves (1/2 cup) to release their flavor. Stir into the strawberry mixture, reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.

Strain the strawberry mint mixture and discard the solids. Let syrup cool.
5.
For each drink, fill an 8-ounce glass with crushed Ice (as needed) and Lemons (1 slice). Over the ice, spoon 2 to 4 tablespoons of the strawberry mint syrup, depending on how sweet you want it. Pour in each glass about 1.5 fl oz of BACARDÍ® Superior Rum (12 fl oz) over the strawberry and ice. Fill to the top with Club Soda (24 fl oz).
6.
Stir gently, and serve with a Fresh Mint (to taste) sprig and a straw. Enjoy!
