Author's Notes

I used Basmati rice but it will also work with American long grain rice. I used yellow food colouring just to make it a bit different, but this is an optional.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Step 2
In a baking tray, add White Rice (1 cup) , Green Bell Pepper (1/4) , Onion (1/2) , Salt (1 tsp) , Vegetable Oil (3 Tbsp) , Garlic (4 cloves) , Water (2 cups) , and Yellow Food Coloring (1 pinch) .
Step 3
Cover with an aluminum foil.
Step 4
Place in a preheated oven at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and bake for 45 minutes.
Step 5
Serve and enjoy!
