Step 1
Cut both ends of the
Plantain (1)
and cut in half.
Step 2
With a knife make an incision on the skin from top to bottom.
Step 3
With your hands or knife peel the skin as you were peeling a banana.
Step 4
Once peeled slice each half.
Step 5
Place the slices in a skillet or pan with hot
Vegetable Oil (as needed)
and fry until golden brown.
Step 6
Once brown on one side turn each slice so they fry on the other side
Step 7
When the plantain is brown remove from the pan and place on a plate with kitchen paper to absorb the extra oil. Serve with
Fresh Cilantro (to taste)
and
Feta Cheese (to taste)
.
