Slice the Lemon (1) into wedges.
In a bowl beat the Egg (1). Add in All-Purpose Flour (to taste) and mix with egg and Baking Powder (1 teaspoon). Keep adding flour until you have a thick but still liquid batter, be careful that the batter does not become a paste. Add in Salt (to taste).
Begin to heat up a pan of Oil (to taste). You'll want enough oil to cover the calamari completely so they can fry without touching the bottom of the pan.
In another bowl add in All-Purpose Flour (to taste). Next take the Calamari (to taste) and season with Salt (to taste) then proceed to toss in the flour, then in the egg batter.
Once the oil is hot, fry the calamari until golden.
Keep frying till golden brown in color. Remove and transfer to a plate with paper towel to drain excess oil.
Squeeze some Lemon (to taste) on the fried calamari and they are ready! Serve and enjoy!
