Step 1
Place the
Flank Steak (2 lb)
in a bowl or a large Ziploc bag. Coat the beef in
Cooking Oil (2 Tbsp)

Salt (1 tsp)

Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)

Corn Starch (1/3 cup)
. Toss to coat evenly.
Step 2
Pour
Soy Sauce (1/3 cup)
,
Water (1/3 cup)
,
Rice Vinegar (1/4 cup)
,
Brown Sugar (1/4 cup)
, and
Fresh Ginger (2 Tbsp)
into your slow cooker.
Step 3
Give the sauce a stir, then add the sliced beef. Stir again to coat the beef in the sauce.
Step 4
Place the lid on your crockpot, then cook on low for 5–6 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours.
Step 5
Top with
Scallions (to taste)
, then serve with steamed white rice or brown rice.
