Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Melt the Unsalted Butter (1/2 cup) and let it cool down.
Step 2
Place Eggs (2) in a measuring cup.
Step 3
Add Vanilla Extract (1 tsp) to the eggs, and beat them up a bit.
Step 4
Slowly pour in the melted and cooled butter.
Step 5
Combine All-Purpose Flour (1 cup) , Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup) and Baking Powder (1 Tbsp) in the bowl of the electric mixer.
Step 6
Set the mixer at low and give it a light stir.
Step 7
Slowly pour in the eggs/butter mixture and Milk (2 Tbsp) .
Step 8
Mix on medium speed for a few minutes, scraping down sides of the bowl from time to time.
Step 9
Place the batter in three bowls.
Step 10
Pour a few drops of Red Food Coloring (to taste) in one of the bowls.
Step 11
Stir to combine.
Step 12
Next pour a few drops of Blue Food Coloring (to taste) in another bowl.
Step 13
Stir to combine.
Step 14
Put 1 tablespoon of the blue batter in each muffin cup.
Step 15
Then add the white batter, and spread with a toothpick.
Step 16
Then add the red batter on top.
Step 17
Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for about 15 minutes.
Step 18
Take them out of the oven, let them cool down and serve.
