Step 1
Heat
Avocado Oil (1 Tbsp)
in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the
Onion (1)
and stir, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
Step 2
Add the
Ground Beef (1 lb)
. Season with
Salt (1 tsp)
and
Ground Black Pepper (1 tsp)
and cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until all meat is crumbled and browned through. Remove from heat.
Step 3
While the beef is cooking, combine
Cream of Mushroom Soup (1 can)
,
Cream of Chicken Soup (1 can)
, and
Green Chili Sauce (1 can)
. Stir well and set aside.
Step 4
In a greased baking dish, layer
Black Beans (1 can)
, ground beef,
Tortilla Squares (12)
, and cover with sauce mixture. Repeat until you fill the dish.
Step 5
Top with
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (1/2 cup)
. Cover with aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 7
Transfer the baking dish, still covered, into the hot oven and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil after 40 minutes.
Step 8
Allow it to cool slightly before serving. To serve, cut into pieces and top with
Tortilla Chips (to taste)
