Step 1
To a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat add
Vegetable Oil (1 tsp)
and brown
Ground Beef (1 lb)
until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain any excess oil.
Step 2
Add
Onion (1/2)
to ground beef as well as
Green Bell Peppers (2)
. Cook until vegetables are translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Add
Diced Tomatoes (1 can)
and
Sloppy Joe Sauce (1 can)
. Once it comes to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low to simmer. Cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until tomatoes and peppers are cooked and the sauce is no longer runny.
Step 4
Meanwhile,
Butter (2 Tbsp)
open sides of the
Hamburger Buns (4)
and sprinkle lightly with
Garlic Powder (1/2 Tbsp)
. Toast on a frying pan for 3-4 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 5
Serve meat sauce over buns, like a burger. Serve with
Coleslaw Mix (to taste)
,
Pickled Cucumbers (to taste)
, and a side of
French Fries (to taste)
