Step 1
In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, cook Wright® Brand Smoked Bacon (1 cup) until golden and crispy about 6 minutes. Drain cooked bacon, leaving the grease on the pan, and set aside.
Step 2
In the same pan over medium heat, add Red Onion (1) , Scallions (2 stalks) , and Garlic (1 clove) . Cook for about 3 minutes or until the onion is soft.
Step 3
Add Baked Beans (1 can) , Barbecue Sauce (1/4 cup) , Dark Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp) , Worcestershire Sauce (1 Tbsp) , Apple Cider Vinegar (2 Tbsp) , Smoked Paprika (1 tsp) , Salt (to taste) , and Ground Black Pepper (to taste) . Stir to combine.
Step 4
Reduce to low heat, mix in cooked bacon, bring to a boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until it thickens. Occasionally stir to prevent the burnt from the bottom.
Step 5
Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with more scallion and serve warm.
