In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, cook
Wright® Brand Smoked Bacon (1 cup)
until golden and crispy about 6 minutes. Drain cooked bacon, leaving the grease on the pan, and set aside.
In the same pan over medium heat, add
Red Onion (1)
Scallions (2 stalks)
Garlic (1 clove)
. Cook for about 3 minutes or until the onion is soft.
Baked Beans (1 can)
Barbecue Sauce (1/4 cup)
Dark Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp)
Worcestershire Sauce (1 Tbsp)
Apple Cider Vinegar (2 Tbsp)
Smoked Paprika (1 tsp)
Salt (to taste)
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
. Stir to combine.
Reduce to low heat, mix in cooked bacon, bring to a boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until it thickens. Occasionally stir to prevent the burnt from the bottom.
Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with more scallion and serve warm.
