Step 1
In a mixing bowl, prepare the Lemon Sesame Sauce by combining the zest and juice from
Lemon Zest (1)

Sesame Seeds (1 Tbsp)

Soy Sauce (1 Tbsp)

Honey (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Toasted Sesame Oil (1 tsp)
, and
Fresh Ginger (1/2 Tbsp)
. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and set aside.
Step 2
Brush the
Salmon Fillets (4)
with
Olive Oil (1 Tbsp)
on both sides and season with
Salt (to taste)

Step 3
Place a non-stick pan on medium heat and place the salmon filets skin-side down, cook the salmon 80% of the way through skin-side down. This will take about 8 minutes.
Step 4
Then, flip the salmon and add
Water (3 Tbsp)
, immediately close with a tight lid and remove from the heat. This will allow the salmon to steam and cook gently all the way through. This should take about 3 minutes.
Step 5
Once the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily, remove it from the pan and transfer it to a serving plate.
Step 6
Pour the Lemon Sesame Sauce over the seared salmon filet, allowing it to coat the fish evenly.
Step 7
Garnish with torn
Fresh Cilantro Leaves (1/2 cup)
for added freshness and flavor. Serve the salmon with Lemon Sesame Sauce immediately, and enjoy it with your favorite side dishes.
