Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
Step 3
Prepare the
Puff Pastry (3 sheets)
, roll it out a bit in both directions, and use a pizza cutter to cut it into 6 rectangles. Keep refrigerated.
Step 4
In a saucepan, add
Granulated Sugar (1/4 cup)
and
Water (1 Tbsp)
, cook over medium heat until it reaches an amber color, and turn off the heat. Stir in the
Salted Butter (1 Tbsp)
.
Step 5
Using a spoon, spread the caramel sauce on the parchment paper. Then place the
Apple Slices (2)
over the caramel. Place a piece of puff pastry over the top of each filling.
Step 6
Pinch with a finger or a fork on all four sides of the puff pastry. Brush with
Egg Wash (1)
, and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Watch carefully while baking.
Step 7
Remove from the oven and let it sit for about 2 minutes. Using a flat spatula carefully flip and move to a cooling rack.
Step 8
Sprinkle
Powdered Confectioners Sugar (2 Tbsp)
on top and serve.
