Step 1
Divide the
Ground Chuck (1.5 lb)
into 4 equal 6 oz. portions, using the buns as a guide for patties. Indent the center of the patty with your finger, this will prevent the patties from shrinking while cooking. Generously season with
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
.
Step 2
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat OR heat a grill over medium-high heat. When the grill or pan is hot, add the patties with salt and pepper side down and grill for 4 minutes.
Step 3
Then season the other side with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Flip the burgers and brush each patty with
Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce (1/4 cup)
. Continue to grill for 4 minutes for medium doneness. Remove from the grill and allow to rest.
Step 5
Grill the
Hamburger Buns (4)
cut side down until slightly toasted and warm. Remove from the grill.
Step 6
Build burgers by spreading
Sriracha Mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
on cut sides of buns. Add
English Cucumber (1)
to the base of the bun, then the burger patty. Add
Red Onions (1 cup)
to the top of the burgers and close with the other bun. Serve.
