Step 1
Mince the Garlic (2 cloves) and the Onions (to taste) if using.
Step 2
In a large pot, add the Bird Pick Organic Lapsang Souchong Tea Leaves (2 Tbsp) , Garlic, Onions (to taste) , Water (1/2 cup) , Hoisin Sauce (3 Tbsp) , Rice Vinegar (1 Tbsp) , Sesame Oil (1 Tbsp) , Bird Pick® Kamahi Honey (1 Tbsp) , Salt and Pepper (to taste) , and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Once at a boil, remove from heat and strain out the tea leaves.
Step 4
Let the marinade cool, and then it is ready for whatever you wish. Roast, bake, or grill as you please!
