Mince the Garlic (2 cloves) and the Onions (to taste) if using.

In a large pot, add the Bird Pick Organic Lapsang Souchong Tea Leaves (2 Tbsp), Garlic, Onions (to taste), Water (1/2 cup), Hoisin Sauce (3 Tbsp), Rice Vinegar (1 Tbsp), Sesame Oil (1 Tbsp), Bird Pick® Kamahi Honey (1 Tbsp), Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste), and bring to a boil.
