Crush Whole Cardamom Pods (10) using the bottom of a small pot or metal measuring cup. Remove seeds and discard shells.
Continue to crush cardamom seeds along with Black Peppercorns (15), Whole Clove (4), Star Anise (1), Cinnamon Stick (1), and Whole Nutmeg (1) until well broken down.
Bring Water (2 cup) to a simmer in a small pot. Add crushed spices along with Ground Ginger (1/2 teaspoon). Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in Black Tea (2 tablespoon). Cover and steep for 10 more minutes.
Stir in Brown Sugar (3 tablespoon) and strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
Warm and froth Unsweetened Almond Milk (2 cup). Pour 1/2 cup hot chai concentrate into a mug and top with 1/2 cup of almond milk and a spoonful or two of froth. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon if desired and serve immediately. Enjoy!
