Grate the Sunkist Orange (1) into a small bowl.
Mix in the Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1/4 teaspoon), Salt (1 teaspoon), Onion Powder (1 teaspoon), Dried Chives (1 teaspoon), Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1 teaspoon), Brown Sugar (1 tablespoon), Dried Thyme (1 teaspoon), Hot Smoked Paprika (1 teaspoon), Ground Nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon), Ground Ginger (1/2 teaspoon), Ground Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon), Ground Allspice (1/2 teaspoon), and Olive Oil (2 tablespoon) to form a moist rub.
Now go ahead and rub the Chicken Drumstick (4 pound) with the rub, cover and place in the fridge to marinate for about 4 hours.
Once the chicken has marinated, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
Remove the seasoned chicken from the fridge and allow it to come back to room temperature. Use a wire rack on a baking sheet to roast- this will allow for the hot air to circulate around the chicken pieces and cook evenly. Try to place them in a single layer and with a bit of space between each.
Place the drumsticks in the preheated oven and on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 1 hour. This time may vary depending on the size of your drumsticks.
Once you remove from the oven they are ready to serve and enjoy!
