Cooking InstructionsHide images
step 1
Peel and chop the Onion (1).
step 2
Chop the Green Bell Pepper (1 cup).
step 3
Into a pot, add Ground Beef (2 lb). Cook until browned, chopping it up with a spoon as you go. Drain the fat from the pot.
step 4
Add the onion and pepper. Cook over medium heat until softened slightly.
step 5
Add Water (1 cup), Ketchup (2 1/2 cups), Chili Powder (3 Tbsp), Ground Black Pepper (1/2 Tbsp), McCormick® Garlic Powder (2 Tbsp), Onion Powder (1/2 Tbsp), Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/4 tsp), Salt (1/2 Tbsp), and Granulated Sugar (2 1/2 Tbsp). Stir to combine.
step 6
Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes or so so the bottom doesn't burn.
step 7
Serve on hotdogs or as a side.
