Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Clean Medium Shrimp (2 lb) and wash well with cold water, drain. Season shrimp with Adobo Seasoning (1 tsp) , Lime (1) , Garlic (1 tsp) , Soy Sauce (1/2 Tbsp) and Ground Oregano (1/2 tsp) . Let sit for a couple of hours if you can but it is best overnight.
Step 2
Heat skillet with Corn Oil (1/4 cup) on low to medium heat. Add Onions (1/4 cup) and Assorted Color Bell Peppers (1/2 cup) . Stir for about 5 minutes or until they become tender.
Step 3
Add Beer (1/4 bottle) . It should produce a slight foam as you add it. Stir and let cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 4
Add Tomato Sauce (1 can) , Pitted Green Olives (1/4 cup) and stir for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add marinated shrimp and cook for 7 to 10 minutes for medium-size shrimp. You'll be able to tell that shrimp is done because it will no longer be translucent.
Step 6
Serve with white rice or if making the Shrimp Plantain Cups, fry the Goya® Plantain Cups (1 pckg) as directed on the package. Chop shrimp into small pieces, stuff plantain cups with the chopped shrimp and serve!
