Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Chop the
Tomatoes (1 cup)
, Mince the
Garlic (2 cloves)
. Chop the
Onions (1 cup)

Step 2
Cook
Spaghetti (7 oz)
according to package instructions. Reserve a 1/4 cup of the water for the sauce.
Step 3
Heat
Olive Oil (1/2 Tbsp)
in a pan and add garlic and onion. Cook for a minute on high or until they are translucent.
Step 4
Add tomato and mix well. Keep stirring frequently or the mixture might burn.
Step 5
Once the tomato reduces to a mush, season with
Salt (to taste)
and
Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1/2 Tbsp)
. Add
Tomato Paste (1/2 Tbsp)
and
Dried Oregano (1/2 Tbsp)
. Mix well and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 6
Add
Almond Butter (2 Tbsp)
to the sauce. Add a splash of the starchy cooking water and mix well. Let it boil for 2 minutes.
Step 7
Add the cooked pasta and mix well. Top with
Cheese (to taste)
and
Slivered Almonds (to taste)
, if desired.
