Super Simple Dinner Rolls

These dinner rolls are light, fluffy, buttery, and kind of amazing. The best part of these are that they are so simple to make – taking less than two hours from start to finish. They’re practically impossible to mess up and your result will get oohs and aahs from the admiring masses.

Ingredients

1 package Instant Dry Yeast
1/4 cup Water
3/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Butter

STEP 1
Heat Water (1/4 cup) and Milk (3/4 cup) to 105 - 110 degrees F. Add Instant Dry Yeast (1 package) and wait 5 minutes for yeast to proof.
STEP 2
Mix in milk mixture, Granulated Sugar (1/4 cup), Salt (1 teaspoon), Egg (1), Butter (1/4 cup) and All-Purpose Flour (3 1/4 cup).
STEP 3
Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead for 3-5 minutes, until dough is smooth and elastic.
STEP 4
Place dough in greased bowl. Cover and allow to rise for 1 hour.
STEP 5
Form dough into rolls and place on baking sheet. Allow dough to rise for 20 minutes.
STEP 6
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 13-15 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
