I use to hate oatmeal until I figured out how to make good oatmeal! It’s easy to make oatmeal not taste good, but I was determined to find a way to turn steel-cut oats into a delicious oatmeal recipe with good-tasting additions.

Steel-Cut Oats
4 cups
Water
1/2
Banana , sliced
1 Tbsp
Natural Peanut Butter
I like crunchy
1/4 cup
Almond Milk
add more if desired
1 Tbsp
(optional)
1 Tbsp
Hemp Seeds
2 Tbsp
Chopped Nuts
to taste
Ground Cinnamon
for a fall-inspired touch
Pumpkin Pie Spice
(optional)

Directions

Step 1
Pour the Steel-Cut Oats (1 cup) and Water (4 cups) in a medium saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are soft.
Step 2
Pour cooked oats into a bowl and top with Almond Milk (1/4 cup) , if desired.
Step 3
Arrange the Banana (1/2) , Fresh Raspberries (1/4 cup) , Fresh Blueberries (1/4 cup) , Natural Peanut Butter (1 Tbsp) , Maple Syrup (1 Tbsp) , Hemp Seeds (1 Tbsp) , and Chopped Nuts (2 Tbsp) . Garnish with Ground Cinnamon (to taste) .
