Step 1
Put the
Linguine (12 oz)

Cherry Tomatoes (2 1/4 cups)

Red Onion (1)
,
Sea Salt (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)

Garlic (4 cloves)
,
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/2 tsp)
,
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (2 Tbsp)
, and
Fresh Basil (2 sprigs)
in a large pot.
Step 2
Pour in the
Water (4 1/2 cups)
and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Once boiling, cook for 9 minutes. Using tongs, occasionally lift and move the pasta so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Then turn off the heat.
Step 4
Give the pasta a few quick tosses, so that any remaining liquid will thicken and then become a sauce.
Step 5
Top with
Parmesan Cheese (to taste)
and any remaining basil leaves. This could be paired with a salad or some garlic bread. Enjoy!
