Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Cream the Vegetable Shortening (1 cup) , Brown Sugar (1 cup) , and Granulated Sugar (1 cup) . Add in the Eggs (2) and mix until combined.
Step 3
Sift the Oatmeal (2 cups) , All-Purpose Flour (2 cups) , Salt (1/4 tsp) , Baking Powder (1 tsp) , and Baking Soda (1 tsp) together and add to the wet mixture. Fold in the Gumdrops (1 1/2 cups) .
Step 4
Roll out cookies by hand using a large cookie scoop to measure. Place at least 2-3 inches apart on a lined cookie sheet.
Step 5
Bake for 12-14 minutes in the preheated oven. Serve after cooled.
