Step 1
Slowly incorporate
Water (1/3 cup)
into
Tomato Paste (1/2 can)
by stirring in a little by little (this will prevent clumps in the sauce).
Step 2
Stir into this mixture the
Orange (1)
,
Apple Cider Vinegar (3 Tbsp)
and
Hot Sauce (1/2 tsp)
.
Step 3
Finally, stir into the mixture the
Smoked Paprika (1 Tbsp)
,
Garlic Powder (1/2 tsp)
,
Onion Powder (1/2 tsp)
and
Salt (1/2 tsp)
. Set aside for serving.
Step 4
Pre-heat grill to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
Step 5
Meanwhile, generously
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
each side of the
Chicken Wings (2 lb)
.
Step 6
Grill wings on each side 10 minutes, making sure grill doesn't go above 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) or it could catch on fire. Watch wings carefully through the whole grilling process to avoid flare-ups.
Step 7
Drop grill temperature down to about 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Grill until completely done and browned, around 15 minutes, flipping occasionally.
Step 8
Serve wings with BBQ sauce for dipping.
