Step 1
Crack an
Egg (1)
into a bowl, add
Salt (to taste)

Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

Fresh Chives (3 stalks)
, and mix well.
Step 2
Cut the
Tofu (1 pckg)
into 1cm thick, 4 cm wide slices. Coat the tofu in
Corn Starch (to taste)

Step 3
Dip the tofu into the egg mixture.
Step 4
Pour
Frying Oil (as needed)
in a pan and lay the slices in one by one. Fry until both sides of the tofu are golden brown.
Step 5
In a small bowl, mix
Sesame Oil (1 Tbsp)
, stock or
Water (1 Tbsp)
,
Light Soy Sauce (1 Tbsp)
,
Scallions (1 Tbsp)
,
Thai Chili Pepper (1)
,
Fresh Cilantro (3 sprigs)
and
Toasted White Sesame Seeds (1 tsp)
. Serve with fried tofu. Enjoy!
