South Indian food is incomplete without coconut chutney. The traditional coconut chutney is simply made by mixing coconut with curd. This recipe adds tomatoes and onion for a different color and flavor.

Cooking Instructions
1.
Heat some oil in the pan and add Cumin Seeds (1 tsp).
2.
Add Dried Red Chili Peppers (2), Onion (1), and Tomato (1). Add Salt (to taste) and cook for 5 minutes.
3.
Add Coconut (1/4) and cook for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool and add Chana Dal (as needed). Blend into a paste. Add Mustard Seeds (1 tsp) and Curry Leaves (7). Serve and enjoy!
