Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together the
Ground Pork (12 oz)
,
Scallions (1 bunch)
,
Toasted Sesame Oil (1 Tbsp)
,
Salt (to taste)
, and
Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
until just combined (try not to overmix or the burgers will be tough).
Step 2
Form the meat into 2 patties. Press your thumb into the center of each patty to create a small indent - this will help the burgers cook evenly.
Step 3
Heat the
Butter (1 Tbsp)
in a large skillet over medium heat. When the butter has melted and is very hot, turn up the heat to medium-high and add the burger patties. Cook for 4 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Once the burgers have cooked, transfer to a plate and let rest for at least 5 minutes.
Step 5
Meanwhile, mix the
Sriracha (1 Tbsp)
and
Mayonnaise (2 Tbsp)
together in a small bowl. Add more sriracha if you want more spice!
Step 6
Top the burgers with the Sriracha mayonnaise and serve on hamburger buns or with large pieces of lettuce to form a “wrap”.
