Heat a skillet or a non-stick pan over medium heat.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the Egg (5), Half and Half (1/2 cup), Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon), Almond Extract (1/2 teaspoon), and Ground Nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon) together. Place the Sliced Almonds (2 cup) in another medium-sized bowl.
Dip one piece of the Bread (8 slice) the egg mixture first, and then into the almonds, making sure the almonds stick to the bread by pressing with your hands. Be sure to coat both sides of the bread with both the egg mixture and almonds.
Place the bread on the griddle, and cook until each side starts to turn golden brown, about 3 minutes on each side.
Transfer to a plate and top with your favorite toppings.
